This was my third time preaching. After preaching the glorious power, wisdom, riches and knowledge of God from Romans 11:33-36, I thought it would be a good compliment the following week to visit a passage of scripture that shows how this great God has come down, in Christ, and has invited us to come to Him for rest.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
