Was reading in Romans (ESV) a few weeks ago and noticed that Paul says God “gave them [wicked mankind] up…” to three things:

  1. …in the lusts of their hearts to impurity… (v.24)
  2. …to dishonorable passions.  (v. 26)
  3. …to a debased mind… (v. 28)

Wondering what the differences are between these three.  I see a distinction between lusts/passions and the mind, but the distinction between the first two eludes me more.

Thoughts?
