About me…

That's me on the right...next to the pretty one.

I live in Michigan, am an ex-paratrooper, work in the telecommunications industry, love theology, being a husband, father and a Sunday school teacher.  I love to read.  I love to write but I’m not very good at it.  I love God’s Word.  The blog is more for me than you.  Sorry, just being honest.  I need to discipline myself to write more consistently and intentionally and since I’m in front of a computer more than I find myself alone with a pen and paper, I figured a blog was the easiest medium to use.  I also find I learn and retain things better when I’ve thought through them enough to (hopefully!) write something intelligent about them.  If you enjoy what you find here, that’s a bonus!  But more importantly, please keep me straight.  Don’t you dare agree with everything I write.    Leave some comments, agree, disagree, whatever.  I just hope you leave built up and encouraged.
